Amicus Horror is a journal of film culture, criticism and conversation, with a particular interest in independent cinema and the Gothic imagination.

Our editorial approach

We publish essays, interviews and considered discussion intended to remain interesting beyond a release date. We share occasional news from the British Horror Studio and our partners.

We are not a general news service and do not accept unsolicited press releases, promotional coverage requests, review copies or submissions of films, video games, books, music or other projects for publicity. Please do not add our addresses to press-release mailing lists.

Letters & professional enquiries

Readers are welcome to write about our published articles, suggest corrections or join the cultural discussion. For relevant editorial correspondence, or journalists requesting interviews, information or press materials about our studio and its films, write to press@britishhorrorstudio.com.

For general studio, mailing-list or privacy enquiries, write to info@britishhorrorstudio.com. For help with a shop order, use support@britishhorrorstudio.com. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
