The In the Grip of Terror trailer has been unveiled exclusively by Dread Central, offering audiences their first substantial look at Amicus Productions’ new anthology horror feature.
Writing for the American horror publication, Brad Miska introduced the teaser alongside the announcement of Amicus Productions’ return to British cinemas, noting that In the Grip of Terror represents the first new Amicus horror feature in more than four decades.
The film returns to the anthology tradition for which Amicus became celebrated, drawing upon macabre tales by H. P. Lovecraft, Ambrose Bierce and E. F. Benson. Its cast includes Golden Globe nominee Jane Merrow, Laurence R. Harvey and Megan Tremethick. Readers wishing to learn more about the production can consult our complete guide to In the Grip of Terror.
The Dread Central exclusive precedes the picture’s British theatrical engagements through BHS Picture House, marking another step in the continuing revival of Amicus Productions. Announced screenings and booking information can be found in our In the Grip of Terror UK cinema dates report.
Our sister publication, British Horror Chronicle, also reports on the In the Grip of Terror trailer and its Dread Central unveiling.
