Uncle Monty’s Antique Shop, a new theatrical horror anthology, comes to London’s Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town from 13–17 October 2026, with four unsettling tales linked by a mysterious antique shop.

Presented by Pither Productions, the Offie Award-winning company, the show is written, created and directed by Nina Atesh and Alexander Wright. A visitor’s encounter with the shop’s unusual proprietor provides the setting for stories of violence, control, memory and power, with apparently ordinary objects concealing disturbing histories.

The premise should appeal to admirers of The Twilight Zone, Tales of the Unexpected and the British horror anthology tradition. For Amicus readers, the prospect of separate tales connected by an uncanny setting will be familiar territory: our guide to In the Grip of Terror explores the company’s own return to anthology horror on screen.

The production forms part of HERE | FOR 2026, a season led by Proforca Theatre Company at the Lion & Unicorn. The programme supports emerging companies through funding, rehearsal provision, marketing and mentorship.

Pither Productions’ previous shows include The Drought, Tales From the Hellfire Club and Horne’s Descent. Its latest production features Shanice Petilaire, Akshay Sharan and Ryan Williams, with Nicholas Benjamin as Monty and Nina Atesh as the visitor.
